ADEGBENGA WILLIAM KOKO

Adegbenga is the founder, lead consultant, and chief trainer of Guardmaster Institute Canada™. He is a proficient corporate security professional who has gained experience of over fifteen years working in the corporate security and financial services sector, now imparting his expertise through training, consulting and thought leadership.
Previously worked with some of the leading and renowned banks, in corporate security, loss prevention, audit, internal control, financial crime investigation, financial forensics, risk management, anti-money laundering and regulatory compliance, in Africa and North America, where he accessed the best training that translated to quality work experience, combined with unique exposure through numerous interactions with wide range of clients, stakeholders and mentors.
The expertise and skillset he acquired through diverse managerial roles and subsequent gold standard CPP® (Certified Protection Professional) certification with ASIS International, the CPO (Certified Protection Officer) and Certified Protection Officer Instructor (CPOI) certifications with International Federation for Protection Officers (IFPO), and other professional certifications, enables him to adopt an all rounded modern approach to handling security risk related challenges that organizations face, and use these skill-set to develop professional training programs and instructional materials that addresses the needs of the industry. He is a Professional Member (MSyI) of The Security Institute, United Kingdom.
Adegbenga is also a Chartered Accountant (CA), Chartered Loss Prevention Specialist (ChLPS™), Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist (CAMS), Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE), Certified Forensic Investigator (CFI), and Loss Prevention Certified (LPC). He has a Bachelor of Business Administration Degree (BBA) in Corporate Security Management from Switzerland, Certificate in Risk Management, Postgraduate Certificate in Fraud Examination & Forensic Accounting, Master of Science (MSc) Degree in International Security & Risk Management from the University of West London, United Kingdom, and a Master of Business Administration (MBA), with specialization in Corporate Strategy & Risk Management. He is currently a Doctoral (PhD) Candidate, with specialization in Strategic Management.
